This is very interesting because radiology is a famous problem in the deliberate practice field.
Both Malcolm Gladwell and Anders Ericcson have talked about it.
Basically radiologist are famously bad at reading the scans. And of course they are, they don't feedback. It's impossible for anyone to develop deep skill without feedback. Radiologist will look at a scan, make a diagnosis, and typically don't follow up with a patient to see if their diagnosis was correct.
Tools like this can dramatically change this dynamic. Our ability to diagnose is about to dramatically increase.
