"My model isn't working

with half of my clients!"

Maybe you're doing it just like they trained you, but still feel hopeless with certain clients.

Perhaps you find that clients keep resisting you and the things you know will help them.

Or maybe you're just sick and tired of the pressure to always have an answer...

That's why we train therapists in Meta-skills for Clinical Excellence.

Learn when to use your model, so it actually works.

Almost all of our training as therapists is geared toward a very specific moment in a session — when the client is present, ready, and open for a big change.

But, honestly, how often does that actually happen?

We'll train you on the other 75% of the work — relating to clients when they are resistant, distracted, vague, and unwilling to do what you invite them to do in session.

You'll learn the micro-moment skills to track clients as they move up and down the motivation scale every minute of session.

Who are we?

We're clinicians just like you. We were tired of seeing "amazing, life-changing" single therapy sessions at training events, only to find out that it's a lot harder in our own offices.

We started digging into the actual research about therapeutic outcomes and discovered massive gaps in our training as therapists. We now train others on these key missing skills.

Meta-skills for Clinical Excellence

We're answering the question they forgot to tell you to ask:

When do I use this model or intervention??

Here's what we focus on:

First

Process Coding:

This is a style of reviewing clinical sessions with a focus on micro-moments between clinician and client.

Second

Resistance Tracking:

Every interaction with your client has all the info you need to answer the question: Is this client able and willing to take our next step?

If they aren't, we show you exactly what to do.

If they are, we also show you what to do.

Third

Experiencing Scale:

The experiencing scale is a way of sensing how warm and alive your client is in the moment, which tells you whether or not the metal is warm enough to move into new shapes.

Fourth

Body Language Training:

Learn to see when clients are congruent in their communication, or when they might be saying things just to be acceptable, compliant, or agreeable.

Fifth

We Watch Tape,

Then Role Play:

All of this learning is done via real therapy session video tape. We often show our sessions and/or those of famous therapists, or we invite you to bring a recording in.

Then we deliberately train the micro-skill needed to take your clinical work to the next level.

"I reversed my burnout as a clinician with these skills..."

We're here to help

The question isn't whether or not you know your model — it's more about if you know when to use it.

And what to do when it's not the right time.

We've built a set of skills which takes you from lost to confident.

I've been working with Jordan and Paul for a year now. Before I started working with them, I had zero clients, coming from the agency world. Now I consistently see 20-25 clients a week. I've found Jordan and Paul to be dependable, knowledgeable, and communicative throughout my working with them.

I've been working with Jordan and Paul for 3 months. Before I started working with them I had no clients as I was just dreaming of starting my private practice, I now have 10 and love working for myself. I've found Jordan and Paul to be very knowledgeable and compliment one another as they consult with me to build my practice.

For three months I was getting, like zero, hits from potential clients. Then I met with Jordan and Paul for one consultation session. The very next week I got contacted 5 times today for scheduling. They really helped me change my Psychology Today profile and get set up on google. Their secret sauce is effective, and they are effective communicators.
