I have an online presence.
It's way smaller than people assume. And yet, every once in a while a post I write goes viral and you know what happens? Am I flooded with positive attention and accolades? No.
Just the opposite.
The comments will be filled with people assuming the worse and twisting innocent phrases into the most malevolent readings.
