How to help African Americans navigate white spaces.

Many African Americans feel uncomfortable in predominantly white spaces. Many white clinicians are unaware of the discomfort their black clients may feel. Worse, the same dynamic plays out in workplaces, recreational activities and interatrial family gatherings with black friends and family members feeling on the outside.

It doesn't have to be that way.

In this workshop host Silena Scott, Ph.D, LMFT, and Jordan Harris, Ph.D LPC-s, LMFT-s, will talk live with mental health experts to discuss what we can do to make more inclusive and welcoming places for African Americans. Come join the discussion!
