In this training Dr. Jordan Harris will coach you in developing skill based competence in assessing and diagnosing. Selected topics include:

• Suicide

• Gottman four horsemen marital assessment

• Sexual functioning

• DSM Disorders:

  • Major Depression,

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder,

  • Bulimia Nervosa,

  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

Too often clinicians get stuck with a client, decide to get additional training, thoroughly enjoy the training weekend, and then become frustrated on Monday when they attempt to use the new methods with clients. This often happens because trainings value theory over application. This training will use the gold standard in mastery based learning, Deliberate Practice, to teach you the skills needed to assess and treatment plan effectively.
